Reflecting on this year..
I can say this in a couple of words. This year has been the best. Family got closer and i was introduced to some new cousins. Several family members got HUGE houses. I made my first goal. I found my real friends. Right now im pretty sure id do anything for them. I changed from a kinda shy guy to a kinda shy guy with a certain obsession. And thats all i want to think about this year.

New Year's Resolutions
1. Get some really nice cleats. Like top of the line.
2. Win League/CIF. One or both would be really nice
3. Get on the second team for soccer. First would be cool too.
4. Get my 3.5 GPA back. Im averaging 3.3 right now

Got my $100 dollars in cash, plus christmas money. I think ill start looking for nice cleats now…or save up some more in case i want anything else, or some emergency or something like that.

There's no practice tomorrow

Tomorrow is the last preseason game
against kennedy high school. at 3. at kennedy. And it makes me nervous because this is the game that really tells where we’re at. League starts exactly the day we come back. Thats the first game, against a tough opponent. We HAVE to do well. Losing like we did to Bolsa and Loara is not an option. We have to come out strong and stay strong the whole game. And score goals.

work sucks. I’ll say that straight up. cuz i end up hurting even more than playing 2 soccer games in a row. But it pays well so i wont complain. And i get closer to buying the cleats i really want. Which im not even sure what they are, but if i can afford one pair of pro cleats, thats probably what im sticking with.

This one dad takes his kid to the field outside my window everyday and makes him play soccer. He makes him run, do these drills, and half the time yells at him he’s doing it wrong. That he’s not going pro like that. Me as a soccer player, i dont see anything wrong. The kids got a nice style. But his dad insists on molding him and making him something he isnt.
